Safety
Is MyRoomz safe?
MyRoomz is an 18+ platform run by an Australian company. Here is exactly what we check, what we keep private and how paid content is protected, for creators and for fans.
Updated 9 October 2026
Everyone is a verified adult
- Every member passes an age check with a live selfie before they can browse creators.
- Every creator also passes a government ID check before they can post.
- Signed out visitors cannot browse creators or their content at all.
Consent from everyone in the content
If anyone else appears in a post, they are tagged and must approve it before it is published. Someone without an account approves from a link we email them, after seeing exactly what would go live.
If a creator later takes back consent to shared content, every post carrying it is paused at once, on every page, until she approves it again.
Your identity stays private
- Your public identity is your @username. Your legal name is used only for ID checks and payouts and is never shown on your page.
- Phone notifications never show a name, an amount or a message, so a locked phone gives nothing away.
- If you bring content from another platform, we never ask for your password there. You bring your own files.
- You can block anyone, and a block works both ways.
Paid content is protected
- Paid media is served through signed links that expire, never a public address.
- Paid photos are stamped with an invisible mark unique to each fan who views them, so a leak can be traced back to an account.
- Locked content shows only a heavily blurred preview made on our servers, never the real file.
- Uploads are checked: only real photos, videos and audio are accepted, and files are scanned for malware.
No platform can stop someone photographing their screen. What we can do is make a leak traceable, and act fast on takedowns.
Reports and takedowns
Any member can report a post, a profile or a message, and a person reviews it. Anyone who finds their work posted without permission can use our copyright takedown form, with a 14 day window for a counter notice.
Money and accounts
- Card details are entered on our payment provider’s page and never stored by MyRoomz.
- Every withdrawal is checked and approved by a person, against the name on the creator’s ID.
- You are told about sign ins from new places, and repeated wrong passwords lock the account for a while.
- Accounts, payments and media are stored in Australia.
