How to start a creator page

You can go from signing up to your first post in an afternoon. Here is every step on MyRoomz, in order, including the ones that decide whether anyone finds you.

The steps

  1. Sign up with your email. Choose a username: it is your public name on the platform.
  2. Pass the age check with a quick live selfie.
  3. Verify your ID from the Verification page. Creators verify with Australian, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom or European Union ID. Once it is approved your account becomes a creator account.
  4. Open your profile and tap Edit Profile. Add a profile picture, a cover, a bio and your links. A short cover video stands out more than a photo.
  5. Add tags that describe you and your content. Tags are how fans who search, and fans looking for suggestions, are matched to you.
  6. Set your monthly subscription price, from A$4.99, and press Save.
  7. Make your first posts from Home. Choose who each is for: free for followers, or for subscribers. Schedule more for later.
  8. When you first withdraw from Wallet, choose how you are paid: Australian bank, PayID, Wise or a US bank account.

The step people skip

A creator with no cover is not listed on Explore at all, and a creator with no tags is never suggested to fans. Those two take five minutes and decide whether anyone finds you. Guided Setup, in the menu, ticks off every step as you go.

Already creating somewhere else?

Bring your photos and videos with you. You upload your own files, review every post, and nothing goes live until you say so. We never ask for your password elsewhere.

Sharing a page

A couple or a group of up to four can share one creator page, each with their own login, with earnings split automatically at agreed shares. You do not need this just to post content with other people in it: tag them on the post and they approve it.

Questions people ask

›How long does ID verification take?

Most checks are decided automatically. If one needs a person to look at it, it takes a little longer, and you are emailed the result.

›Does it cost anything to start?

No. MyRoomz keeps a flat 10% of what you earn and nothing else to get started.

›Which countries can creators join from?

Creators verify with ID from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom or any European Union country. Fans can join from anywhere.

›Can I use a stage name?

Yes. Your public identity is your @username. Your legal name is used only for verification and payouts and is never shown.

Keep 90% of what you earn

Joining is free. Verify your ID, set up your page and start posting. MyRoomz keeps a flat 10% of what you earn, for life, and pays you in Australian dollars.
